The room is very spacious and equipped like a
studio apartment for university students. Plenty of wardrobe space and a desk made my stay comfortable, though the shared bathrooms were a bit dated. Overall, it's a decent choice for travelers.

We had such a fun time staying at this hotel with 20 family members! The breakfast buffet was absolutely delightful, offering a wide range of dishes. The location next to the Botanic Gardens was perfect for leisurely strolls, and our room was clean and spacious, making our stay enjoyable.
In my wife’s opinion, a water bottle refill station would be fantastic for families with kiddos.

missingWrote a review on Aug 13fjord viewample parkingfriendly staffshared bathroombreakfast chaos
I stayed one night at Hotel Edda in Akureyri. My room was a Single Room with Shared Bathroom. The view from my room overlooking the fjord was stunning. The cozy vibe of the hotel was lovely, and there was ample parking available. I appreciated the convenience of the lifts, which eased the climb to my room. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel special during my stay. However, the shared bathroom situation made things a bit cramped at times, especially during peak hours. Also, the breakfast area seemed to need more staff. tables took a while to be cleared, which created some chaos. These issues affected my stay but didn't overshadow the positives of being in such a beautiful location.

The large Triple Room provided a nice view of the wooded area, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Clean and comfortable bedding made for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring a variety of options that catered to vegetarian diets. However, the internet connection was poor during our stay, and the overall vibe felt a bit sterile, reminiscent of a dormitory.

missingWrote a review on Jul 27delicious pastacozy barhelpful staffmissing toiletry bagroom switch request
The pasta at the Aurora Restaurant was out of this world, with flavors dancing on my palate! The cozy bar near the reception was a sweet spot to unwind after a day of adventures. Plus, the staff were super helpful when we needed to reach out about whale watching.
However, I had a cheeky little inconvenience when my man's toiletry bag went MIA after the cleaning crew. And getting a room-switch request at 10 PM on a Sunday? A bit much, right?

The hotel had a great parking lot and large rooms. My only complaint was the noise from the hallway and garbage area, which disrupted my peace. The breakfast was a bit pricey, so I skipped it. Overall, it was a clean place to stay during my visit.
